Become part of the plumbing group
Time slots for work
Work will take place before, during and after the race weekend. That is, work will take place from Monday, July 28 to Wednesday, August 13.
Work tasks
As part of the plumbing team, you'll help connect water to toilets and showers for both volunteers and our guests. During the race weekend, you'll be on site to help if there are any problems with the toilets or the connected water. After the race is over, you'll help remove and pack away plumbing equipment.
Requirements and expectations
We expect you to have experience in plumbing, be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and deal with issues that arise regularly.
Become a part of Logistics
The work of the logistics team is wide-ranging and consists of thousands of ad hoc tasks. Our tasks include overseeing various purchases and delivering them to smaller setups on site. Post-race tasks will consist of picking up and properly packing up what we have delivered/set up.
Time slots for work
Work is done throughout the race week from the Monday of the race week up to and including the Tuesday after the race weekend. Work is from 8:00 to 16:00 on the first days and intensifies to 8:00-20:00.
Work tasks
The work of the logistics team is wide-ranging and consists of thousands of ad hoc tasks. Our tasks include various purchases and delivering these smaller setups to the site. Post-race tasks will consist of picking up and properly packing up what we have delivered/set up.
Requirements and expectations
It would be an advantage - but not a requirement - that you have a driving license and are somewhat practical.
Become a Craftsman
Time slots for work
Work will take place before, during and after the race weekend. This means that work will take place from Monday, July 28 to Thursday, August 14.
Work tasks
Construction, installation and repair tasks as well as other small and large ad hoc tasks. If there are periods when we have "free hands", you must be prepared to help the track builders. Monday will consist of proper packing of what we have set up.
Requirements and expectations
It is important that you are used to physical manual labor and have good manual dexterity, as well as the ability to "think outside the box" and be adaptable. A craft background is not a requirement, but IF you have special prerequisites, please state this when registering.
More information
Our tasks include the following: building a prize podium, setting up TVs for our exhibitors, building various platforms/stairs, building counters, installing/connecting various equipment and a myriad of other small and large ad hoc tasks. As we work with a deadline on all our tasks, you must be prepared to go the extra mile "when the going gets tough"
During the race weekend, the team will perform routine repairs on fences, stairs, stands, toilets, installations, etc. In addition, there may be tasks such as filling water tanks and delivering and laying out plastic road plates. But as a starting point, there will be plenty of opportunity to have fun and watch the motor race as this is primarily handled by a contingency team where you take turns to "be on"
The tasks after the race weekend will consist of properly packing up "everything we have set up".
There may be periods in the team when we have "free hands". During these periods, you must be prepared to help out with the track builders.
Tools, vehicles and equipment will be available for the different tasks. You are of course welcome to bring your own preferred tools.
Full meals are provided on the days you work.
A craft background is not a requirement, but IF you have special prerequisites, such as a forklift license, experience with construction equipment or similar, you are welcome to write it when registering.
The group leader distributes work and breaks in collaboration with the team. The team must always be manned, but there is of course the possibility to watch the event.
Become a track builder
You'll help build up the course and the area and then tear it down again. This means you'll need to have your hands on your feet and be ready to get to work! Tasks include handling fences and concrete elements.
Time slots for work
Work will take place before, during and after the race weekend. This means that work will take place from Monday, July 28 to August 8 and again from Sunday, August 10 to Thursday, August 14.
Work tasks
The first thing we start by fencing off the entire area with festival fencing. Then a subcontractor sets up concrete barriers to enclose the entire field. Once the concrete is set, a safety fence is placed on top of the concrete. It's also a job for the track builders to place the safety fence, which then needs to be reinforced with clamps and steel wire. All around the track, where there is an audience, a 1 meter high bicycle fence is erected.
Requirements and expectations
It is important that you are physically fit and used to manual work, as there is a lot of lifting etc. You are expected to sign up for a minimum of 4 working days, one of which can be a Sunday for packing.
