Motorsport for the whole family

Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix is the flagship of Danish motorsport. CHGP is one of Denmark's largest sporting events at Bellahøj in Copenhagen - with action, drama, speed and entertainment for the whole family.

This is where we celebrate historic race cars and famous racing drivers, especially our Danish icons, but also foreign stars, over an entire weekend in August every year.

Area map

The track is an approximately 2.4 km long paved race track built especially for CHGP at Bellahøj. It is wide but very challenging with many turns and a good straight.

From the starting line on Bellahøjvej, the track runs counter-clockwise downhill, along the way they encounter several 90 degree turns, a Monaco type chicane, a bus stop chicane and a challenging left turn before it ends on the superb long side, where it really gets going.

It is surrounded by concrete barriers and guardrails, supplemented by a 2-meter high wire fence for maximum security. On the inner circle you'll find the equestrian center, exhibition area, food stalls, relaxation areas and much more.

A first-aid tent will be placed on site to be used in case of minor accidents. Furthermore, there will be a close dialog with the emergency services at all times, including the police, rescuers and fire brigade.

Everyone is welcome at CHGP. If you have special needs or are a wheelchair user, you can find information about the conditions below.

If you have any questions that are not answered on this page, you are very welcome to contact us at [email protected]. This of course also applies if you have good ideas on how we can improve us/your experience.

Tickets and companions

Disabled people buy regular tickets for the CHGP. Wheelchair users and people with special needs have free access to the disabled grandstand around the start/finish area. Companions who can present a valid companion card may stay on the podium if there is room. Other wheelchair users and people with special needs have priority. If you want access to other seating stands on the site, you must purchase a regular stand supplement for both the disabled person and the companion. There will be access control at the podium, and if necessary, companions/family can accompany you. We recommend that only people with a disability stay on the podiums, as space is limited.

As a companion with a valid companion card from Danske Handicaporganisationer (or an equivalent foreign card), you can, upon presentation of this, receive a free admission wristband when accompanying a paying disabled person. It is a prerequisite that you have a valid companion card issued by Danske Handicaporganisationers Brugerservice.

Admission for children up to 11 years old is free when accompanied by a paying adult, but there is no free wristband for a disabled child accompanied by a non-paying companion.

As a wheelchair user for CHGP, please arrive at Entrance West.

The transition for wheelchair users is located at "Restaurant Bellahøj" around the start/finish. Transition can only take place between heats and only for wheelchair users + companion (possibly immediate family).

Larger accompanying walking groups are asked to cross the bridge due to limited time to cross the track. Limited to those with difficulty crossing the bridge via the stairs.

A very limited number of disabled parking spaces are available as close as possible to the West Entrance. To access the disabled parking spaces, a visible and valid parking card issued by Danske Handicaporganisationer must be presented to our guards. Disabled parking works on a first-come, first-served basis.
There are accessible toilet facilities at the start/finish line and in Grøndal MultiCenter.
CHGP takes place in and around Bellahøjmarken. We try to make the site as accessible as possible, but there may be difficulties in some places due to the type of area.
